As you can see below we have a fantastic line up of bands to play at the 2010 festival. All of the bands performing and the stage crew that manage their sound at the Festival give their time free of charge. This generosity ensures that as much money as possible raised goes directly to Loxwood Pre-School.
Upgraded from last year, the PA sound system we will be using this year will be 4,600watt of Mackie and JBL sound and JBL, Laney and TC Helicon monitors. The overall sound is controlled by both Mackie and Behringer 48,8,2 mixing desks and a variety of outboard effects. Vocal mikes used over the day are Shure 57 and 58, Electrovoice ND767a, Sennheiser wireless and AKG drum mike. Over 5,000 metres of cable will connect all of this together!

The Band was originally formed as far back as 1970, by Colin, Craig and Mark, under the name of 74T7, with a local drummer called Trevor Cooper.
They used to play a two weekly residency at the Queens Head in Byfleet, and other pubs and clubs in Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire. There have been several changes over a twenty year period, with Colin always remaining the constant member. But in the late 90’s Derek Frederick joined Colin, Craig and Mark and Flying Visit was ‘born’.
Like all successful bands Flying Visit recognised the changing musical climate and in January 2008 Alan Butcher joined Colin and Craig to form a new line up broadening the musical scope of the band. Collectively the bands musical experience integrates the old and the new covering venues such as social clubs, pubs, and private events.
Colin, Craig and Alan between them have supported bands such as Chas ‘n’ Dave, 60’s rock ‘n’ roll & comedy star Wee Willy Harris, Rolling Stones, Status Quo, Jethro Tull, and Jeff Beck to name a few.
Flying Visit’s repertoire is a blend of Rock n Roll, country rock, blues, and ballads, influenced by such artists as Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly, Elton John, etc. as well as bands such as The Rolling Stones, Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Queen, Primal Scream, etc.

Fixed Wheel are a Two- seven piece rock and pop covers band comprising male and female lead vocals and backing vocals provided by the lead guitarist and key board player. Fixed wheel perform an extensive range of rock and pop favourites that are sure to fill the dance floor, from the Beatles to The Black Eyed Peas. The band are also capable of producing a top quality acoustic set for a perfect early evening chill out.
In just five years Fixed wheel have accumulated a wealth of live experience. Between us we have performed with a number of high profile acts and appeared at prestigious balls and corporate events.
For your event the band provide a high quality PA and lighting system, and can provide background music at no extra charge on CD/Minidisc before their performance, during their breaks and after the performance has finished. Fixedwheel generally play two one-hour or three 45 minute sets, but times can be altered to suit the function.

A five piece popular covers band based in south east England, performing a wide variety of popular music from the 60s through to today's top hits. Available for weddings, parties, festivals and whatever other requirements you may have.
The Band With No Name is looking for as much work as we can handle over summer. Get in touch soon!

Second Time Around, (STA) have been playing for 6 years. Built from a heritage of music jams, founder members, Steve Bradford and Paul Wakeham, over the years have been fortunate to play with a number of musicians who to this day are still part of the STA family, this is part of the ingredients that keep STA sounding fresh but always professional.
For this years Loxwood Festival Dave Polglaze returns on Bass with John Hiles on Drums, we are hoping to encourage one or two Festival goers to join in with us.
The best way to define our sound is great music from the 50’s up to date that makes you want to move to the beat.
STA are available for Weddings, Parties, Festivals, Clubs and Pubs and can provide music to dance to.

Pluko are a band that dispenses impressively energetic music with a blend of rock, pop and country and just enough jangling guitar to separate them from the crowd. As a unit Pluko instantly come across as competent and tight, while ragged enough around the edges to enable them to produce huge amounts of fun sounding music.

Cranleigh’s very own hard hitting rock and pop band, The Sanctions, return to Loxwood with songs from The Jam, The Police, Bowie, Roxy Music, The Clash and many more. Feel the energy of your favourite songs from the late ‘70’s and early ‘80’s, combined with some contemporary indie rockers, played as they should be... with plenty of attitude!

The present line up of Throbbin Hood have been together for about 7 years although the core of the band have been going for about 20 years!! We have a policy of only playing music that is well known and fun, (the lyrics may change but the song is the same). Based on the variety of venues we have played, ranging from a one car domestic garage to the main ballroom of the Brighton Metropole Hotel via the many homes and estates of the rich and famous, I think our policy is working.
"Throbbin Hood, not for the faint hearted!"
